Barney's Success Story

It's been awhile and I wanted to let you know how Barney is doing. He is the most wonderful companion. He is with me all the time. He follows me everywhere I go, I call him my little shadow. His fur has come back beautifully and he sparkles in the sun with a reddish glow. He has a wonderful personality, at first he was so shy but now he seems to smile. I feed him the best food I can afford and he has his heartworm regularly. He also has had his teeth cleaned two times and had two back teeth extracted, ( when they were cleaning they were very loose so they just pulled them out, with little to no trouble.)
Weather permitting he goes with me on my errands in the car. He rides so shotgun and looks so proud. He and my other dog Chloe get along very well. Barney let's her know when he has had enough and Chloe leaves him alone. Sometimes we catch them sleeping together which is so funny. When my son and daughter come over with their doxies it's a madhouse and we have a ball. After a little fuss, everybody calms down and is fine. I do notice that Barney likes to play, but with no other competition just one on one. So we find time to play just him and me. I don't know what I would do without him, he is so sweet. I just want to thank you again and again for your unselfish love toward animals to help them find wonderful homes if it weren't for you I wouldn't have Barney. I will send you a photo of him. So don't be surprised to receive one in the mail. I want you to see first had how he is doing and how beautiful and happy he is.

Thank you Gretchen again, I am so glad you took Barney in and let me have the wonderful opportunity to love him and have him in our families lives. I'm sure If Barney could talk he would tell you just how thankful he is to you too.

Keep up the good work you help not only all the animals find happiness but you also enrich peoples lives with loving companions and that is priceless.
