Darby's Success Story (aka Daniel)

I just wanted to update you on ( Daniel ) now - Darby's progress. We got him home last night and he ate really well. He learned how to walk on a leash with a harness pretty good for the first day. He stayed with everyone in the living room most of the evening. We played with his new toys- especially a squeaky toy the shape of a bone. He loves his Winnie the Pooh blankets. He likes to snuggle with his bear blankie when he takes a nap. He used the pee pads in the evening, but went potty outside most of the day Saturday.

NEVER ONCE made a mistake. The perfect little boy. He slept through the night in his crate in our bedroom by the bed. Sunday morning arrived, and he went outside to potty, then came in and ate a nice breakfast- the all natural puppy food. He absolutely loves it, except that he seems shy about eating out of a bowl. We start him out by feeding a couple of pieces in our hand and then set his bowl by him. He then finishes from the bowl. He get the idea real soon. He got a bath this morning, was toweled dried then hair dryer dried. He then wore his bath robe till completely dry, while he was snuggled on my lap in his Winnie the Pooh blanket while we watched tv. So far, he has been the perfect little angel. He is soooo sweet, and loving. Right now, at 6:07 pm, he used his pee pads, then ate dinner with the family, as he doesn't like to eat by himself, and now we are having a fun game of squeaky toy & hide and seek. He is starting to get tired, even though he took a nap this afternoon for about 1 hour while watching a John Wayne movie. Thank you for this wonderful blessing to our family. We absolutely love him. His grandparents think he is the cutest thing too. If you want to keep updated on his progress, just leave me know.
