We got Luke last July, shortly
after losing our 12 year old cocker. He is our Angel
Boy. I have never seen a dog with such a good
disposition. He loves everybody!
We almost lost him when we took him back for his second heartworm
treatment. He had a bad reaction and almost died. Dr. Kelly saved
his life. We call him "Dr. Luke" because he fixes broken
hearts. (Ours) He is amazing! He loves to "sing" with me when I
practice my praise and worship music. He has the cutest soft howl.
He goes with us just about everywhere. He'd rather ride in the car
than eat ( and believe me he loves to eat! He weighs in at 38 lbs).
He is so beautiful. I can't imagine anyone abusing him but they said
he was in really bad shape when he was rescued. He had heartworm and
ears infected with maggots. I can promise you this, no one will ever
abuse him again, ever! He is one pampered pooch. He gets along well
with Rusty our 10 year old blind cocker. Rusty is amazing too. He
was also a rescue . Even though he has gone blind, he is an
inspiration, he never lets it get him down. They guys are
blessings! They are in a FOREVER home and loved more than I can tell
you. Thanks so much for rescuing him. He has brought life and
laughter back into our lives.
Luke's Forever Mama,
Sandy
