Hi everyone at Animal House Rescue! It's me, Baileigh! Well, you knew me as Bessie. Today is my one year anniversary at my new forever home, so my mom said that we should send an update and some pictures and let everyone know how great I am doing!! I was so afraid when my new family was bringing me home that day. I had spent my first five years as a breeder dog in a puppy mill, and I wasn't really sure how a dog was supposed to act. Thank goodness there was already another Cocker Spaniel here that could teach me what I was supposed to do. Now I know all about chasing squirrels and bunnies, and my fur brother, Yaeger, has even showed me how to lay under the table and hope that something falls!! I even like the cat that lives here! It's been a great year for all of us! My mom just said yesterday that I am a different dog today-so happy!! All someone has to do is look at me and my tail goes crazy!! I was really afraid of my dad at first, but we're great friends now! I like strangers now too! I also love my human sisters and my cousin who is an English Bulldog. So thank you Animal House Rescue for saving my life and making me such a "Happy Tail." Today, we are celebrating with a big, crunchy treat! My mom has attached a picture of me in her shade garden, and the other one is of me and my fur brother, Yaeger. Love, Baileigh
