I have been terrible about keeping in touch, but that's partly because Charlie and I have been so busy! I just want you to know that he continues to bring great joy and adventure into our lives :-) We now have area children coming to our house to visit him! When a close friend recently lost a relative, Charlie and I visited, and Charlie let her cuddle with her. As you can see from the picture, Charlie is a major hit with our grandkids. He settles in more every week, and no longer becomes anxious or afraid we'll leave him when we take him in the car with us. Friday evening was really exciting -- Charlie easily passed his Therapy Dog test :-) This organization also requires three observed visits, so he probably won't be "official" until the end of the month, but they won't be any problem. I already have permission for him to come to our local elementary school to read with the children, and I hope to do the same thing at our local library this summer. We also will be visiting a local nursing home. Charlie is just too good not to share with others. I can't thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to adopt Charlie.
