After 13 great years with our golden retriever, Elsie, we never thought we could fill that void. Then a friend of mine put me in touch with Jody of Animal House Rescue. After completing our application and speaking to Jody, it wasn’t long before she emailed me to say she had some puppies out in Edon, Ohio that she thought we might like to see. My husband and I took the 2 hour drive on January 26, 2007 and it was love at first sight. We had a rough couple of months because Sadie was very sick with a bad parasite and she could have died. Lucky for us she is now almost 3 yrs old and weighs 65 lbs. She has brought so much joy to Dennis and I and we are forever grateful to Jody and the foster mom, Vicki in Edon, Ohio.
